People say they sound like cradle of filth because they do sound like cradle of filth. Not the earliest stuff or the latest, but somewhere in the middle. Personally I think you could throw one of these tracks on Midian and a lot of people wouldn't even notice. Honestly, this is a good thing in my opinion. Cradle started to go downhill after Midian. Some of their newer stuff is getting better, but I'm not sold on it yet. Anyway, Cthonic is an awesome band. Glad I found out about them.

Chthonic are (or at least,seem to be) a more musically diverse group than Cradle...though at the end of the day,most people will say that screaming black metal bands are screaming black metal bands,period. That's kinda why I hate most people. I'm just glad that Chthonic are finally getting some well deserved recognition in the states \m/
