Written in BASIC, this program was popular with owners of Atari 8-bit computers (800, 800XL, etc.) and required 48K of RAM. It features a battle between Atari and Apple corporate logos. We all know how it really came out, but this is cute.

  • Now make a demo with Windows logo

  • @psychonaut25 You'll have to ask the guy who created it. I'm just posting the vid of it.

  • Atari would have made a better iphone.

  • I could write a program in BASIC that printed the word "Hi" continuously!

Unfortunately for the software world, I never pursued my gift any further.

  • Anyone have this as a .bas or .atr. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'd like to play it on my 800XL.

  • Ha! That brings back some memories on my 130XE. Of course, I'm now typing this on a Mac so I guess the rivalries don't mean as much today! ;-)

  • Ya tambien era usuario de atari y he rememorado aquellas epocas. Saludos

  • I remember having this demo a long, long time ago, must have lost it on one of the floppies that died from bit rot. Thanks for bringing back good memories.
