every player in the nba sometimes travels on thier way to the hoop, its just the way the game goes, referees are paying to alot more shit than just how many steps the ball handler is taking. the only reason people hate on lebron more often than any other player is becuase of the way he finishes...with vicous dunks that are often seen on sportscentre so that haters may analyze where hes done wrong

@alfonzolamar Well, key word is strong. Lebron's not that strong taking off from his right foot so he takes that extra step to take off from his left foot. A strong left handed layup starts off of the right foot. This is what Lebron looks like when he takes off from his right foot and he hardly gets above the rim on this. Obviously in a game he can't afford to take it to the rack this weakly so he often gets caught up taking that extra step.

@calguy3214 No. Actually great players like Kobe, Iverson, or Jordan never really travel(ed) during a gather. Maybe sometimes during the triple threat but the best players have great footwork and a left hand. Lebron's problem is that he can only finish strong with his right hand which makes him fuck up his steps more than others. Iverson also didn't have a left hand but his footwork was always spot on although carries are another story. Don't get me wrong though, Lebron is a great athlete.
