No need; I know, but I still disagree with it being appropriate just because the persons using it tried changing it to be less offensive then used it between themselves.

I find any off-shoot of such terms offensive regardless of who is using it or who they're using it towards. I also still find it to be a racist-sensitive term if only one specific color can use it without being deemed an offensive person in the majority of cases.

Like I said, I feel it would be best if all such terms died out.

Perhaps you should go figure out the meaning of the term "Nigga". It does not directly go towards a black person, but yet you take it as such. I find that to be hilarious, because then they are calling themselves one by saying that the term is racist.

Words are just words; a racist term is not racist in and of itself. The meaning of a word is what we want it to be. That's why it's not racist for black people to call each other "nigga". They took the term and made it their own, thus robbing it of it's power and original meaning. I hope you don't think that when a black person uses the term "nigga", they are being racist to other black people. That would just be silly. :)
