I think it would be really kool to go to Ireland I have a grandfather who hails from Ireland too. I'm so sorry about your friend that is horrible. I think your attitude towards your illness is fantastic, very inspiring. Fantastic to hear another piece of your story. How fantastic it is when two people from different faiths can come together in love and create a loving union.

Some much information here. Loved it all. My Jose is not a pagan either and it works out great for us. He has attended a few open circles and loved the energy and love. So much in common we have. Hugs and Love

I find Wicca and druidry very different, as you do. I find Wicca fascinating, but far more ordered and with much more emphasis on magic (I don't do anything as part of my druidry that I would consider magic - although others may see some of it that way). The circles of the two are, as you point out, nearly opposites. A Wiccan circle is set aside from the world, a druid one is about relating to the whole world.

@Steeleperfect Agreed, friend. The most powerful of Wiccans, to my mind, are the ones that when they aren't inside their magic circles are relating to the world in the sense you refer to. We may chose to set time and place aside for magic and ritual, but when we return we return to the "home" place where we are part-of. One WIccan's view :)

I know what you mean by traditional Wicca, but how is it that we "diverge" or are diverse from the Druids? Please explain. I've watched videos from Druids who feel that Wicca is some sort of an abomination and it makes me feel like their views are discriminatory and too old in the way that they cannot accept today's happenings when Wiccans see today as it is while holding traditions.
SerinaJK 9 months ago
@SerinaJK I noted the differences I experienced in the video. I am not a source of knowledge of Druidry beyond that, and at the level of those personal experiences found the interaction positive and enjoyable. The only time I experience tensions when communicating with Druids is when certain things are assumed about my practices and my understanding of Wiccan history that are not true of me. Then it is a matter of talking that through, usually with positive results.

Anni, howdy, another question: Just what do you mean by 'Traditional Wicca' ? I have enjoyed your Q & A's.
I thank you so much, your positive outlook on life is awesome! You help me see my situation in a different light, to call it more of a challenge than a disability. Depression has been a major unwelcomed visitor in my life but your video's have helped me see my life in a more positive light and for that I thank you much.
owlthena 9 months ago
@owlthena When I refer to Traditional Wicca in my videos it identifies me as someone who follows a specific practice and adheres to certain tenets of belief shared with others who follow the same or similar traditions. I have a great deal in common with my YouTube friends who follow more eclectic and free form practices. But we will also have our differences. I've added this topic to my "videos to do" list, as I have received this question several times recently.
