  • I succeed doing step 1 and 2 but when I try to do step 3 i don't glide my skate bites in the ice instead of gliding.

    What am I doing wrong?

  • @BaNgHockey97 Do not tilt your rear foot back as much. Keep rear foot slightly more straight so you're not on your edges as much.

  • Another great vid! I always thot a t-stop was like a "drag" stop, u put ur foot behind and use it to slow u down slowly, but this explains it better and il need to lean back on the outside edge more and lift my front foot up to stop quicker! Thats brilliant, i cant wait to practice that next time im at the rink.

  • i just learnt how 2 do 1 foot t stop. ;D when im skating fast it takes me like 6 meters to stop all sliding on one foot. im not putting enough pressure on my feet since im just trying to keep my balance on the one foot. im so excited i managed to get this. been trying for over 3 months :). its cool cause people who have been skating for years cant even do this. thanks so much for all your help :)

  • @ImAussieMate Keep up the great work.

  • @Prolite Thx Dan!!

  • @TheMsRa00 Oh, that's an Acid Stop. Still an outside edge.

  • @Prolite Oh...ok. When i said put ur foot in front, i mean't put it in a horizontial postion like a 'T'.

Da 1 u showed in da vid is like an 'L' if u kw wat i mean.

  • @TheMsRa00 The T-Stop is an outside edge stop. You're supposed to put your foot in front.
