Cry Me A River - Acoustic Fingerstyle - Ton Van Bergeijk/Julie London

Ton van Bergeijk, the Dutch guitar wizard, recorded this arrangement on his album "Lulu's Back In Town" (Kicking Mule 166). His arrangement is based on Julie London's million seller of 1955.

Ton recorded only three full albums for Kicking Mule and some scattered songs on several anthologies. His arrangements are among the most difficult fingerstyle pieces to play. Sadly Ton turned his back to fingerpicking in the 80ies and became the rhythm guitarist of the legendary Dutch Swing College Band.

This is just so lush and elegant. Jazz and Blues in a perfect marriage. Quite possibly the best acoustic piece of it's like I ever heard. Never wanted to be a 'shredder', but I do want to learn this arrangement. Thank you very much posting this video performance. I never tire of hearing it. Please give us more. I know this was posted years ago already, sorry but I've always been late.
