Fotostat - dance to "The Model" by Kraftwerk (clip) - 1982

This appearance by robot dancing and music duo Fototstat was on the UK's premier music chart show, TOTP, in early 1982. I expect that the elusive Kraftwerk couldn't make it to the studio, so Fotostat took their place...much more interesting to watch than Kraftwerk anyway! :-)

In a sane universe early eighties Top Of The Pops would be charged with crimes against humanity for only allowing the Scottish Fotostat twin brothers 41 seconds of robo-boogie to The Model...makes Kraftwerk's rudimentary robo-mannequin gestures look like an epileptic Robby The Robot..these boys knew the boog-a-loo. Many thanks for rescuing this clip and others from the memory hole, you are a star.
