Arcade Fire No Cars Go Live Sydney 2008

Arcade Fire on the Big Day Out Festival tour around Australia. This show was recorded and broadcast by Triple J TV from the Enmore Theatre in Sydney. It was the second night they played at the venue as one of the sideshows to the festival tour. The date was 23 January 2007, the following night the band played second headliners at the Big Day Out.

No Cars Go off Neon Bible, one of the bands more expansive and up tempo songs, somewhat of a fist pumping rock anthem. In my opinion this is a simply mind-blowing performance that puts this band at the top of modern indie rock. There are no superlatives to truly describe how good this is, how this band is not one of the biggest in the world is beyond me. In short, live music does not get any better than this. A great end to a special show.
