  • I empathise with your indignity, I do not fully agree with fervour overseas as it is not constructive, but nationalistic demonstrations in China's capital cities are no better, in fact are more malevolent, even the People's Daily have urged caution.

Ultimately, it is for the Tibetan people to decide how & if it fits into the PRC. It has always been their decision & it is up to China to entice them to do so. Frankly its done a terrible job so far.

    Finally; no profanity please

  • Jammoexii: 1st, your claim of racism is a nonsensical, likely self-pitying, rationalisation that detracts from the seriousness of genuine racism & ironic given your smug claims of China saving Tibet from itself. 2nd, the CCP rules from Beijing over a vast & diverse people enforcing Han homogeneity over all its people; China is itself a de facto empire. 3rd you comparisons lack relevance. 4th no country is as nationalistic as China proper.

  • The case against China is completely overstated, especially compared to what's going almost everywhere else in the world. You might notice that it's not the "in" thing anymore to talk about Darfur so no one gives a shit anymore, same with AIDS. No one EVER talked about the civil war in the Congo, the bloodiest conflict since the Vietnam War and before that World War II. There are so many way more important things which receive zero coverage, largely for reasons of empire.

  • There are PLENTY of legitimate criticisms which can and should be made of the PRC, and as one specific case, its actions in China, some of which are helpful (like setting up social services which did not remotely exist in feudal Tibet) and some of which are unacceptable.

HOWEVER the "protest movement" is largely hypocritical, racist (look carefully and think a bit about the "Yellow Peril"), nationalistic, and meaningless. Yelling in support of power is not admirable.

  • Cghinese are being evil they must have democracy. How can they expect to be superpower and then get angry when people nottice their evil government. ?:

  • Watch the torch while the elite crime families, in the guise of elected governments, turns the west into a police state.

Keep playing with your balls while the American Military Industrial Complex kills people everyday elsewhere.

  • No In the USA is called Trading Post on Indian Reservation, Which all the natives are on SSI at very Young Age for being Alcohic, a Fixed Income for Life with the Reservations in Canada/USA...is just like being in the Fed.Correction Center Which American Country Club (Jails)

  • think they fuckers r trying to get to watch what going on over sea's instead of over here in america.
