DHS Run-In at Federal Plaza, Chicago, Illinois

Sept. 10th, 2009, Chicago, Illinois -- Two concerned citizens were briefly detained by Department of Homeland Security officers for the crime of filming in a public location and attempting to document the actions of public officials, having political signs in their possession on "Federal property", and attempting to deliver the petitions of Illinois residents to the offices of our U.S. Senators. They were subsequently released and were free to go after the brief, but outrageous episode.

No offense intended at all by what I'm going to say:

"Waking people" up effectively does nothing. So what if they know they are slaves... People have known they were slaves for thousands of years, but very rarely did they ever revolt.

Knowledge, being "awake, understanding the world is effectively USELESS unless decisive action is taken to counter the state of things.

Thoughts never accomplished anything; it is the ACTIONS that are the product of thoughts that accomplish things.

Petitioning, voting, etc. have NOT worked. ZERO results by "begging" our government to cease their vile tyranny.

What is there left to do!!?? Give them more time to consolidate their power? Throw all dissenters in prison?

When it has been concluded that these peaceful petitions for redress of grievances has been IGNORED and all non-violent methods of solving problems within our government have yielded nothing....

....I ask WHAT THEN? WHAT IS THERE LEFT TO DO?!!
