Teachers, lecturers and public sector workers marched en mass through town and city streets, the length and breadth of Britain, on the last day of June, two thousand and eleven to defend rights and liberties which took so much sacrifice and suffering to prize from the grip of the greedy few, who it seems, wish to turn the clock back to the days of the workhouse and wage slavery.
Many believe that this government doesn't give a damn about working people's rights or their circumstance. They are outraged by the idiotic demand for them to work till they reach the grand old age of 68 before they're entitled to retire.
It seems that this government would prefer to work them to death, rather than allow them a well deserved reward for the valuable contribution they have made to society.
Teachers and public sector workers fear that the high standards they have achieved in the workplace will be undone if the government gets its way
The government's demands are those of disaster capitalists, whose only concern is to feather their own nest, while they break the backs of the people on the wheel of corporate greed.
People of Liverpool lined the streets and cheered us.
A pub emptied and a large group of scary looking men serenaded us with
"David Cameron is a wanker", at the Blackie where the march ended police intelligence gatherers filmed everyone.
The fight back has started.
Defend everyone's right to a living pension.
Defend our beautiful NHS.
Defend your children's right not to be a debt slave for an education.
Defend your self.
WE ARE THE 99%, WE CAN NOT LOSE.
This is a revolution good luck everybody.

We have all been scammed by the banksters. This government like the last government work for the same unscrupulousness con artists. Thats the only way any politician gets ahead worldwide. Teachers pensions are paid by the contributions of existing teachers, but ultimately they are all paid by people in productive areas of the private sector who create the initial wealth. For instance my private pension has lost nearly 60% of it's value & once the meltdown comes all pensions will be worthless.
