  • This isn't lazy. It's genius, and saved loads of work and money, without causing any problems except for to those who want to see problems.

    Bravo to disney!

  • they are not lazy ... animation is one of the hardest thing to make in the world...btw even he used to same sequence ...he had to redraw all the frames again anyway.... how the fuck is that lazy?!!

  • @Sfoilgirl03 My only point is that pretty much all animators do it, that I know of, and even movies use the same stock footage. Making a video takes time, a lot of time, taking shortcuts that don't effect the quality is great, especially when you're a little kid waiting for such films.

  • So does this mean there's a sequel called Anime: Lazy Japanese?

  • i dont knoe why but that chipmunks song is fucking catchy! haha ima bump it my car like thug lmao

  • Also, this was during the dark time of animation. Feature films had a terrible time trying to make a profit, and Disney was the only animation company that made it through. Reusing animation to keep the costs down was one of the ways they managed to survive.

  • I make animations Using paint (not good ones) and i hate making frames, so, and so does disney probally as PinkOnBlace, it's just saving time and money, there not lazy, you try making an hour and a half movie, drawing over 1000 frames, i dont blame them for re-using..so, yep

  • I remember noticing the similarities in the Jungle Book/Sword of The Stone movements (the trip scene, and the swinging the weapons), and the dance that both Duchess from Aristocrats and Marian from Robin Hood did, but I wasn't aware of the others. O_O Whoa!

  • Have you ever made an animation? If not, you might not know how time consuming it it. It also saves lots of money to reuse animations.

  • @supersmashbros596 thats the whole point. They didnt mean to CHANGE the movie! Just made it in 3D experience! -.- drink some milk.

  • You're the lazy ones! With your computers, GSM, telephones, wireless internet, Ipods, E-mail,....

    That's lazy! We're all lazy!

  • Disney was not lazy. The redo-ing of scenes was because of budget constraints, even though it barely saved any time or money and in the long run takes more effort. The major pass for reusing a scene I'll give is for Kaa when he slithers away with his coils all tangled. Many people do not realize how complicated that whole slither is to animate. It probably took weeks to plan that out correctly.
