  • Nah, do you have any idea how expensive that would be these days? You've got dragon wrangler expenses, per diem for the dragon and said wrangler, not to mention care and feeding costs.

Plus there's the usual danger of a crew member being eaten or the dragon deciding to sample the local cattle farmer's stock, and most insurance companies refuse to even touch those things.

  • aahhh the old days without cgi. These days they dont have that fun

  • Funny! lol

  • blimey the dawn treader's in the background, i didnt realise they used a real ship, i always assumed it was a model

  • The new CGI dragon looks great! Go check out the latest Dawn Treader film trailer!

  • @MaskedMan66 I think Edmund did that in the film because he wanted to show that he wasn't afraid of that statue. He did seem startled at first, and then to prove to himself that there was nothing to fear, he decided to desecrate the stone lion.

I personally found the movie well done, despite its differences from the book. I went in with an open mind, having read the book only days before, and thought that it was really good. If you go in with a bias, of course you wouldn't have liked the movie.

  • k loko

  • You are quite wrong; the differences I describe are vast, and your belittling of them only reveals why you like the feature films. Substance doesn't seem to matter to you, only surface.

Americans are brighter than you suggest, and even if they run up against a phrase they don't know, it's a simple matter (especially now with the 'Net) to look it up.

Think of all the British slang you hear in the Harry Potter films; who here uses the term "tosser?" Yet Harry said it in "Half-Blood Prince."

  • Tch tch. Petty, petty. Teeny trivial little differences that hardly make a flees difference. Not to mention, an American audience would not have understood football pitch. Are those really your problems? PLEASE tell me they aren't your biggest!
