Michael English In Christ Alone

singing at the dove awards, this is one of the first times he started having voice problems. apparently he had a panic attack and had lost his voice a while before. it is a very soft version, still very good. later in his career he would just yell through when he had voice issues.

This performance was at the Dove Awards back in the 80's. Shortly after this performance, Michael confessed that he had an affair with another female singer. He gave back all the Dove Awards that he won. Sad situation. God sure has restored Michael since then. Praise God!!

@forresteric2 - the performance was in the early 90's and he didn't confess after it, he did after the following year's Dove Awards when he sang "I bowed on my knees"

man i don't care how bad it seems his voice is deteriorating as some of you might say. this performance posted every note or syllable he rendered was sincere and pure and i loved it.

@palmasdr Correct......this was 1993..... my wife and i watched it when it first aired in my dorm (i was in the Air Force at the time) not long after we had started dating.

If King David had been alive in our time, his sin would have been broadcast throughout the wield on CNN, and all the major networks. He would be the subject of numerous chatroom conversations, multiple blog posts and articles would be written, and undoubtedly books and interviews would have been written by staff members and hangers on. Major lawsuits would be conducted by Uriahs family...and yet this mans sin was forgiven, and he us called a man after Gods own heart.

it does matter when everything came out what matters is he overcame the battles he was facing and is now a better man god has used him more then before and continues to use him you rock Michael keep it up we love you bro
