Here is an exclusive sneak peak of Mari for Windows. We're in the process of preparing it for Alpha but wanted to show off a bit as it's Friday. The windows version feels nice and stable already and should make for a pretty quick alpha / beta period. More news to follow soon.
How is Mari any better than Bodypaint? I'm serious, I'd like to know. So far I haven't heard anything that would be so great about it, everyone says how awesome it is but no one says why.

@cgbeige
In this particular setup the AO is baked per vertex by Mari's built in AO renderer. This can be easily converted into a texture map if required by baking out the shader.

Hi aaron1a12,
The windows version certainly does have a time line, I've just got it hidden in this particular layout.
Pretty much anything in the Mari GUI can be hidden, docked, repositioned or resized. This allows you to devote more pixels to painting when you need to.
Thanks for the comments.

Looks pretty awesome, just like the one used by Weta. But one worries me; I believe Mari is supposed to have a timeline so, where is it? Is it hidden or something? Or does Windows simply does provide the capabilities necessary to support this amazing feature?
