  • It sucks to watch this and then have a battle inside my mind...half of my brain is telling me to stop and the other half of my brain is excited for the next time i light up...ughh this sucks

  • @SATAN1KO That's the nicotine talking, dude. Find a friend who can be your sponsor (so you'll have somebody to call at 3 AM when you're ready to snap) - then call us at 1.800.QUIT.NOW. It's free, and will improve your odds of being able to quit by about half. You can do it. Break the shackles.

  • dang this makes me feel like crap:( two months i quit... and i lit one up today:(

  • @kAlIfAlEpOlOgA Don't beat yourself up - gets ya nowhere. Just get back on the horse!

  • wow...that was crazy intense! but awesome at the same time :)

  • how can i get her to come to my school!?

  • That is really awful. I would like to know how long she smoked, to get an idea of how short a time it takes to get cancer.

  • i would be the happiest pearson in the world. If you could do a speech at my school. East High School in Salt Lake City Utah. I think that it would help my school alot with smoking i hate the taste of them and the smell. I would love someone to come i'd love for Terrie Hall to come down. It would make me feel so much better to let the students hear your speech. I hate smoking i wish it would just go away Thank You Alex Holmes Salt Lake City Utah..

  • I remember when I was going to NA and if I would mention my struggles with smoking some would be highly offended and would say to me that smoking is not a drug and not addicting. It was the most powerful addiction I ever had to give up. But was able to do it because I did not want to die.

  • Wow...that's powerful. Thank you Terrie for sharing your inspiring story. That is the ultimate gift you could give these young people to share your story. the gift of love that you do not want to see this happen to anyone else. Thank you.

  • What a sweetheart. If I could give her the biggest hug I would.

I feel bad that she had to go through all that she had to,

and Im happy that she is sharing her story to all of us to show what a horrible thing smoking really is. I love you Terrie, your strong and beautiful I promise,.

    Love always <3 Sarah

  • Wow, they don't wash the tobacco? Well I guess they don't need to - it wouldn't help anything.

  • I have never smoked, never wanted to touch one. Before I was even born, my birth mother was a smoker and a drinker. I'm adopted now, but thanks to cigarettes and whatever else, I have breathing problems, I will occasionally stop breathing, and I have a very poor immune system. It doesn't just affect you it affects those around you. She's so inspiring...she really is.

  • I feel so bad for this woman. But she has changed :)

    God bless her.
