Normally I'd agree with you about the Afrocentric bent on changing history of any civlization, but let's be clear. Where is Egypt located? Who were its neighbors? The Nubians? Kushites? Ethiopians? Traversed commonly by West African kings? correct? Therefore, its logical to assume that Egypt had a mixed society.

Yes they did. Blacks were slaves, and in some cases rose to position of power. Even today, Egyptians are some of the most racist people around. The only thing is, that they are not in your face about it. Egyptian racism goes back 5 thousand years. Even very dark Egyptians identify with European civilization.
