Yeah Southwest also cheats on there maitenance. They had thousands of passengers, and employees lifes at stake so they could bring in a little extra money. I hate Southwest.

I do maintenance and feel like an unsung hero people love the pilot and I do too! But we keep them flying. I spell maintenance wrong sometimes too and thats what I do. haha

The commercial is designed to make it appear that the airline is eco-friendly.

It IS a cute series though.

Would it be just a commercial if Exxon ran the same thing with animals on the bows of tankers?

Here's what I see:

Ever since I saw the animals talking about not getting paid, this campaign has bugged me.

It's implied, if not actual, exploitation of wildlife--by an industry which dumps pollution in our air by the kiloton, utilizes huge areas of land much of which was wild wetlands previously...not a great image.

At the very least, they ought to be making public that they're donating to wildlife preservation...if they are.
