Well the Brand New Day and One Day More and next Tuesday to Come stuff is finally over and what a surprise nothing is really resolved. I cant say that Im that disappointed with the current direction though because the Kravens first hunt stuff was really good and I liked this issue as well. Its good to have John Romita Jr back on the art but I was really getting into Phil Jimenez. I hope he comes back after a while. I just really dig the reality and fluidity of his style. Dude Norman Osborn is busy this week getting sinister in the Moonknight title and showing up back in the web slingers world. It will be interesting to see what hes got in store for Spidey and it the Goblin is really back. There is also a cool little background on Eddy Brock and what hes been up to since being diagnosed with cancer and auctioning off Venom. He seams to rally have turned around and trying to make it work but I wonder what Mr. Negative has in store for him after curing him of the disease and how Eddie will fare against what ever he has in store for him. Heres the real question that this issue brings up. Ok so after fighting Menace, a goblin like bad guy, Pete gets some exclusive pics and for advice on how to sell them he calls his rehabilitated good friend Harry Osborne. Nothing strange in that, what is strange is where he was when he answered the phone. He was on a rooftop and with one glove off it looked like he hadnt been there long and right after Pete had just fought Menace. Coincidence, I think not. With this and Norman back in town Spidey could be in for a whole lot of Goblin trouble to come. Distributed by Tubemogul.

Why did spiderman stop whereing the black costume if MaryJane was never his wife??

I'm all for mixing it up in the comic U as long as it has a purpose. My problem with Brand New Day is that I have not been able to see the purpose and the story has not remained consistent. I wouldn't say that I am praising Norman Osborne, I am praising what he brings to the story and acknowledging that for a story to be entertaining the quality of the villain must be equal to that of the hero. Osborne brings the story to another level and Peter must rise to meet it which equals better story

And I think since Comic fans over use the word retcon, they might as well have an actual reason to use it.

No it just throws logic to the wind for what? I think it will cause a LOT of continuity problems for writers. I think the execs at Marvel Fubar'd badly.

Now your just simply getting carried away for the sake of simply getting carried away. Another reason I loved One More Day. Comic book fanboys have avoided and been needing a stiff kick in the face for many years now. They finally got it and what do they do... cry for like 2 years.

I guess the thing that bugs me most about Spider-Man and his world these days is the fans hating on Quesada, One More Day and Brand New Day... why praise Norman Osborne? He is the most vile of vile when it comes to bad in this world and the comic world. He is not to be liked, even if he does something kewl once in awhile. It's twisted logic like that from fans that makes me enjoy One More Day even more.
