I am pretty sure--this version was with Shaggy. Chaka Demus was not born until 1963. Also, the Pliers version is dancehall. And, as you well know, dancehall didn't come until late 70's. Toots did this in the late 60's. Look to the right of your screen and play the 45 version. That's the original.

@gabthethird--check out my comment. Also, the Maytals' version came out in 1966. Chacka Demus was 3 years old.
