@buashraf: Absolutely with you on that on! Point them out. Sometimes the combined onslaught of sober and cool headed readers will drives the point home or scare the unsavoury away!

@siasabora. It has been my song since I started commenting on Youtube. I abhor all dirty or offensive talk. But the dirty language by some characters overwhelms me. I would spend my whole life commenting or cautioning these characters because dirty language seems to be their culture. I wonder when people will learn to cease from such primitivity. You know well and you have read my comments here admonishing such characters. I bet such people are cowards and they cant say such things in public!
-
@buashraf: Go directly to the offensive comment, vote it down and point out 'the dirt'. That way we all help each other mature into civil beings!

Kweli nyani haoni umbile. Some people are out here admonishing others for use of curse words where as all over youtube their comments are full of dirty language. Talk of having a log in your eye but talking about a speck in your colleague's eye. Please let us show some maturity when commenting on issues. You dont have to use abusive language to drive your point home. It is highly primitive and barbaric to use such kind of language! Imagine talking such a language to your father or mother!

I fully support the crackdown on aliens for the sake of security but it shouldn't be one sided.

@siasabora you are having a pedestrian view about the economy. At a time when governments are injecting econ.stimulus to jumpstart ailing economies, thanks to the recession, you cant just dismiss investors. The govt through its institution like CBK should be able to detect the so"called pirates money" if indeed we have credible and competent institutions-given the performance of the immigration and internal security dept,i doubt there are capable institutions.
-
@Siasabora: Not all of it is blood money, and when i made the above statement its only because am talking from a point of experience and my substantial involvement in venture capital, private equity investments... mainly in the middle east, some investors have had to hold back their investments and are now shifting their focus to Rwanda, and Uganda, So my brother u jst cant say we dont want blood and simply accept a beggar status... NO thats is not how to go about it...

as a somali whose family has a long history in
nairobi(since 1970's) i hear somalis say why is it kenyans don't have a problem when indians, the arabs and whites were running things but us as a fellow africans we are treated different.even if you show your kenyan birth certificate, native kenyans still see us as
an immigrant.
Give the guys credit. They have been able to turn the sprawling eastleigh slums to a modern shopping centre famous in East n central Africa. They are a victim of their own success. They should consider downgrading their investments and relocate to more investor friendly countries. The locals are comfortable with the exploitation by Asian business men.

Just curious! How about arresting Uncle Moody? He is Ugandan. His brother Aggrey Awori is an mp in Uganda. Miguna Miguna too carries two passports and is working in Kenya illegally! :-)
