Meu primeiro contato com a musica árabe foi através de um programa na Radio Cultura FM. Na ocasião conheci a musica do grupo Aisha Kandisha entre outros e tomei consciencia de que há alguns artistas fazendo misturas de estilo bem interessantes na África Árabe.

Rapidamente os marroquinos do Amira Saqati e os argelinos do Maghrebika tornaram se meus representantes favoritos desse estilo de música.

Interessante como eles conseguem agregar novos e modernos elementos à sua música sem deixar de lado a cultura e a tradição que são peculiares aos seus povos.

  • Me lembro de ouvir Aisha Kandisha na Rádio Cultura, e tb foi a primeira vez que ouvi música árabe moderna. Depois de anos fui à busca desse grupo, e fiquei muito contente de escutar novamente. Ouça também o "Azzddine with Bill Laswell" - grata surpresa.
