Not only am I old enough to remeber most of the dancers, I even remembered Eric's cane getting bigger before the first change. Glenda did get off lightly when compared to SHirley Bassey who had her shoe removed and replaced with a muckle great boot. Pure class entertainment in them thar days, not like the s*@te we get now.

@Suprahampton For about half or so of the endings, they chose a song from 2 or 3 others to vary it. Bring Me Sunshine, Positive Thinking, Just Around The Corner and this one, Following You Around (my favourite stalking song). Not sure if they did any others. The band started playing Bring Me Sunshine at the very end, they were obviously missing it!

During the late 1960's and right through the 1970's we were spoilt by quality TV (even from the USA!). Only now we realise it because the programmes today are so below par when compared. In fact there is no comparison. M&W were up there with the best of British comedy.
