  • Me again. I ordered a Tenacious and a Byrd Cara Cara 2. What do you think of those? I would really like 2 by a Military 2 Black Blade if you have 1 at a good price. Thanks.

  • @damdanjam - I don't have a Cara Cara but I do have the Tenacious and Military and I love them. I think my favorite Spyderco right now is the ParaMilitary but I'm not really a big fan of those black coated blades.

  • Thank-You, I was always wondering what it was. I might buy the Tennacios soon.

  • @FallenTheKid - The Tenacious is a nice knife but it is made in China and thus more affordable than the US made ones. Good knife though.

  • I don't mean to be rude, they look like nice knives and all, but what makes the Spyderco such high quality as oppose to a Kershaw or Gerber? Is is the steel, I mean they're pricey knives, but why is that?

  • @FallenTheKid - They have really good steal in Japanese VG10. The more expensive models are made in the USA, Colorado so that drives the price and their quality is top notch. I believe Kershaw is an amazing knife company and I have many Kershaws which are on par with Spyderco if not better. As for Gerber, that brand had a tarnished reputation but I think they're on the up and up again.
