I have a Mastercraft snowblower from the 80's that looks just like yours. I got an "o" ring (part# 631028A) because I did not see one when I took off the bowl. I am working on this with the carberator still installed, snowblower is on it's side. I cant put the ring on the carb like you did but it fits perfectly inside the bowl. When I put it on it that way it leaks where it meets the carb. Is this the correct "o" ring that I'm using? Yours seems to be tubular while # 631028A has squared edges.

@osityan i put the ring on the carb first then the bowl. the ring is kinda square on the edges, sometimes you have to pull it a bit to make it go around the carb

If I try to put the ring on the carb first, the bowl doesn't go over it well. I'll have to try it again. Is the "O" ring there to stop that area from leaking? That must be the source of my leak.... :(

@osityan definitely has to be there to prevent leakage
