His clear, smooth bass tone (usually coming from his Yamaha signature model) has graced a ridiculous amount of records and tours, most notably a legendary tenure with Eric Clapton. For the past 20 years he has also been a part of the smooth jazz group Fourplay, of which he is a founder. Other recordings include Ray Charles, Beyoncé, Billy Preston, Anita Baker, Justin Timberlake, George Benson, and Michael Bublé.
