  • "During my rookie year with the Miami Heat, one of my teammates, Willie Burton, did something he shouldn't have done. When Jordan didn't score any points in the first quarter, Willie told Michael, 'Hey, we're shutting you down tonight. We're going to stop you.' Michael went on to score 56 points in the last three quarters. The worst thing about what Willie did was he wasn't the primary man guarding Michael. I was. So I have 56 unpleasant memories of Jordan from that playoff game." -- Steve Smith

  • @tp23ful Now u got all these average players scoring 30 pt games and getting triple doubles and yet they cant even shoot. Any hard kind of foul is called a flagrant nowadays. You cant even body up like u used to. In highschool and college, they teach u to body up and play hard defense, yet in the NBA they make u play defense without touching the offensive player on the perimeter. I mean seriously, the game is supposed to evolve and yet here we are with rules to make it easier,

  • @bball2372 So you're telling me a man that is 6'9 260 lb's with brute strength could've have played but a guy like Zeke Thomas who was 61 180 dominated? GTFOH! Lebron would dominate in any era fool! No he's not Jordan but I mean damn man NOBODY is. You don't have to shit on other players and other eras in order to elevate Jordan to a status that he can't get any higher than. It's almost damn near idol worshipping!

"another spectacular shot made routinely by jordan..."

  • @Mraloneandsad i agree. at this point in his career (~29 y. o.) he was a much more well rounded player and in his prime whereas the Boston game was very early on after he had come back from that broken foot in '85 where he was more of a dynamic slasher.

  • @bball2372 i agree and im a teen

  • @RamonVince23 molested means "contact" but people today use it in the dirty matter

  • wow that broadcaster for the heat was always there

  • One of my favorite Jordan games. The coast-to-coast drives at 0:59 and 4:46 are nothing but pure grace.

  • @g0ldbuG i think in regulation he ended with 43.and the game ended with triple overtime.and in this game he scored 56 in 3 quarters.LOL this clearly must be his best playoff game

  • This is really one of Jordan's most masterful playoff performances. And remember he scored 56 in regulation, mind you, which is second during the playoffs only to his 63 point barrage in the Boston Garden which was in double overtime, I believe. I'm not sure how many points he had @ BOS in regulation, though.

This performance featured more of a jump shooting exhibition than was his game in Boston. He was more of a complete player at this time (age 29) and had a more reliable J.

  • @RamonVince23 Lol. man I swear I laughed hard as hell. that's exactly wat he said. Poor choice of words.
