haha, tho i'm not Eng expert, i can tell Ms Mo's English pronounciation is very decent and soothing to listen to, rather than what u said as "so forced". considering Eng is important in HK in most aspects, i prefer there are more HK people can speak Eng as good as Ms Mo... otherwise it'd be quite hard for the others to dicipher.

I find the direct Chinese translation of 'skyline' rather awkward but then I do use it verbally as well as in writing - there doesnt seem to be a better alternative ;p And 'skyline' in general modern understanding refers to buildings' outline as viewed against the sky -- like "the New York skyline' example stipulated in the same dictionary. Thnx much for the query, most stimulating that ;D

many HK people don't have that privilege, but many can think, write, and speak reasonably. this is probably one thing that you can appreciate and learn from the others.

or to demonstrate by yourself what is good standard by doing something like Ms Mo that everyone can be benefitted from "your standard".

your question of "are u from HK yourself?" and then put down your judgment of those don't have the privilege of having studied or stayed for some time overseas "seem" to have a "low" standard of Eng speaking (or implying "low" in all aspects about them?!) i can't deny that but who can't speak more fluent Eng by immersing in the Eng speaking environment? what's so special about that?

(sigh....) why do u attack my post because my standard is not the same as you? the main point of my last comment is that i don't agree with what u said by the "so forced" Eng accent. i'm not a fanatic saying Claudia speaks "great" Eng, which was you point of argument.

i'm from HK, just come back from down under. i appreciate Ms Mo for her generosity of "teaching" Eng in such a light manner. regardless of anything, you and i and thousands of others are watching these 1-min clips for free.

One question, are you from HK yourself? I am from HK, but lived in Canada for a long time. So, that kind of english to me is just decent, not great. I expect anyone to be able to speak like that at least. Don't know what your standard is, but it seems low.

"Skyline" DOES have something to do with hills -- well, about as much as with buildings: "skyline: outline of buildings, trees, hills, etc as seen against the sky" --牛津高階字典.
