I have struggled for a long while tyrying to discern WHAT the person and the works of the Holy Spirit are...Thanks for the explanation...The Holy Spirit is kind and gentle and rewasonmable and NOT given to compelling people to act in ways that would bring dishonor and shame on his name. The job of the Holy Spirit is to illumine scripture and point people to Jesus...NOT to wond them up till they are out of control

There is no scriptural basis for being "drunk" in the spirit.
The Spirit already indwells the believer and in control. People under manipulation and peer pressure feel they need to be dependent on something external to gain influence, to have them act drunk- out of control.
Besides having no biblical precedence. If this means one is filled with the spirit then not acting like this means you are not filled with the Spirit.
