I was blessed today to be able to visit the beautiful NEWTON tobacco farm. The owners Andy and Austin are some really nice down to earth folks. I want to thank them personally for taking the time out of there day to show me around. They have a very substantial operation the farm I visited today was just part of the operation. Andy has invited me over to his farm to see and video other parts of the operation. I look forward to visiting again! I hope everyone enjoys these videos....

  • OK....I noticed the black "R" panels which produce heat. I notice all this tobacco is air/barn drying(well done). As a beginning grower, I am concerned about the fermentation process. I KNOW this and storage after is a big part of "good" tasting tobacco. Very curious how this man does these final steps for finished product. Anybody??????

  • @smooretogo Depends on the moisture (weather) the bacc has to come into case. It's not all done from the field PH buys it grades it and continues the process. I would ask Brian at TrimbleTobacco he is an expert on the subject and fit generation farmer.

  • Hello Brother, Thank you for these vids. I am anxious to see the stripping barn. I purchased some Boswell's Burley Blend and it is a sweet smoke. All the best, Chris

  • so this particular batch is slated for cigargettes, eh? international market, I believe? I wonder how that market's doing? sure can't be much of one in the States/Canada, not like it was just a couple of decades ago. anyway, Salam, very cool vid - thanks for making/sharing - looking forward to part 3 - MM
