I have to say, I prefer the 2000 version's Pilate, it seems more believable that he's a leader of men, where-as this pilate seems likely placed there by family . Both are interesting, I just prefer the 2000 version's

The bible itself claims there are only 6 or so thousand years in human history. Furthermore, the english version that you no doubt read has been heavily edited and changed to the whims of the editor-at-the-time.

@SillyLitleGirl You really are a silly little girl.. The bible is not a work of Fiction, it is a collect of historic documents pass down and re-copy for thousands of millions of years. It is a book of laws, poems, historic battles, biographies, letters, and prohopesis that have mostly all come true..

@SillyLitleGirl The bible is historic. It has the whole entire history of the Jewish race, AND it has imporant letters that where sent by schoolars who lived under the opression of the Roman Empire. If that not enough, then the all of the books of the bible where researched and put together by history scholars in church leaders in the early 1000s under the supervision of The Roman empieror himself. To say that the bible isn't 'historic" is a ignorance.

@19njs In case you haven't noticed, this is a MUSICAL, not a church production. Unless you think that the new testament took place exclusively while wearing leisure suits and Jesus was a white guy with long hair (hint: he wasn't. Caucasians were nowhere near Jerusalem at the time of christ) Not to mention the fact that the bible is hardly a historical text, because for sure, bushes talk in real life and we all came from two people 3,000 years ago.
