Smallville: Labyrinth trailer

In this fake trailer, Clark awakens to find that he has been a resident at a psychiatric hospital for the passed five years. According to Dr. Hudson, Clark's recollection of being an alien with super powers and even a tragic incident with the love of his life have all been the delusions of a troubled and confused mind. With everything that he has ever known at stake, Clark sets out to prove his sanity and to uncover what he believes to be a plot by his nemesis Lex Luthor. The farther down the rabbit hole he goes, the more uncertain Clark becomes of which reality is real.

This is an idea I've been playing with for some time now but didn't know how to present it. I wanted to do something dramatic and psychological. I also wanted to choose a plot that the amazing music from Clint Mansell would match with. I'm a huge fan of his work in films like Requim For A Dream, The Fountain, and more recently with Moon. Originally the idea was going to resemble The Butterfly Effect with a time traveling plot thrown in but I thought that would become too complicated. Then I was going to just stick to the Labyrinth episode but I felt that it wasn't cerebral enough and that the stakes weren't high enough. I wanted to make it even more psychological and dramatic then the episode permitted. I also wasn't interested in telling the backstory about the phantoms from the phantom zone. So as usual with my trailers, I twist the narrative a bit and make it into something a little different. Hope everyone enjoys. Be sure to comment.

Well that sucks about my audio being disabled. This was one of my favorites that I edited. I really don't see the harm in using someone else's music. If anything it's raising awareness of that person's music and makes people want to seek it out. If anything I'm advertising their music and that should be welcomed.
