does this video camera come with the memory card???...please reply
-
@udt007us Use caution when you use it with mac.
I had a aiptek a few years ago which I plugged into my Imac BEFORE installing the CD, that mac would never recognize the camera.
MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL THE CD FIRST.... BEFORE YOU PLUG UP THE CAMERA.

What size is the microphone jack?

RE: What comes with the camcorder ? Mine did not have a tripod (no big thing) .. it had everything else you mentioned .. BUT .. you didn't mention about a battery. Mine did not come with a battery. I've contacted Aiptek and they are sending me one.
NOTE: my unit has the flash port horizontal, while your unit is vertical. Wonder why? I have the "black" version.

@paratroop24 From what I read elsewhere .. you need to upgrade the firmware. Contact aiptek directly.

Could look into the Go Pro HD Helmet Camera. Great helmet camera!
Does anyone know if this model (or Aipteks in general) are Mac compatible? That is my last question before purchasing. P.S. Thank you, fishycomics, for all your excellent, detailed reviews!!! I have watched them all and they helped me formulate my decision!

i have a macbook that doesnt have any sd slots, is there any thing i can get like an external slot that plugs into my computer via usb or firewire?

yes there is, I use a multicard reader and that plugs into my usb, works great. just make sure it can read sd cards and more specifically the high capacity sd cards if you have any of those.

Excellent review - I need to know if when you flipped the viewscreen around if the image on the view screen was properly displayed (right side up).
I couldn't find that on the Aiptek web site.
But, your video showed me what they didn't (and a ton more) in 5 minutes.
By the way, this is the first review I have ever been motivated to post (and have watched thousands of videos!).
Thanks, again,
John Galt

I did indeed flip the viewscreen and it oriented the image in the proper position. I used a jobi gorilla pod to mount the camera.
