the only thing yota on mickeys truck in the vid is the body its on a blazer k5 frame and axels with a built 406 in it

@onebadtsi I just see a problem with the Blazer being longer than the SWB Toyota. The SWB Toyota measures in at around 102" WB for gen 2, where the Blazer measures in around 107" WB post 1973 and 104" WB pre-1972. The LWB Toy measured in around 112", and the XLWB measured around 122". I can see him using the GM axles on the Toy frame, or he'd have to shorten the GM frame or relocate the axles. Far less work to use the Toy boxed ladder frame.

@FTORC1 I think i know a thing or 2 about trucks ive owned over 20 toyotas -i have an extcab DD right now with a 4inch lift and 33s and i also have a k5 with a 383 that i mudbog i used to talk to mickey- the guy with the truck in the video when i ran my truck but i havent ran it this year because i got laid off as far as what all he did or modified i never asked or got into that much detail with him - all i know is what he said

@onebadtsi So, did he shorten the Blazer frame to fit under the Toyota? You do realize, that the Toyota axles are still half ton axles right? In addition, the standard cab shortbed Toyota is way shorter than a K5 Blazer. By about a foot. If it were an X-tra cab, I could believe you. And yes, as a matter of fact, I own a Toyota. I know their wheel base.

@OneBaddAssZ71 the only thing yota on mickeys truck is the body - its sitting on a k5 blazer frame with stock 10 bolt 1/2 ton axels and and it had a 355 in it i believe it has a 406 now
