  • yummy. but i didn't understand the tapioca bit. why put tapioca in it? is that traditional in the states?

  • Some use flour for thickening their juices from the apples when cooking. I prefer to use instant tapioca for thickening..

  • @diesellove Crisco certainly isn't lard.. it's vegetable shortening. If you can find actual lard, use that!
