  • Can Musescore PLAY pdf files? If not, what can?

  • @zmanofwar3 MuseScore can't play pdf files, but you can use music scanning software to convert the pdf into a format that MuseScore can read (such as Music XML or MIDI). Photoscore is one example of music scanning software but I'm sure there are others too.

  • This video is corrupted. The second half of it won't play.

  • @KareemMakk It could have been a temporary issue. The video plays ok for me.

  • Im having some trouble with the page backround. How do i set it to the normal blank page instead of the tan page. I am using windows seven.

  • @Mrmusicmaster88 You can change the page background in MuseScore's Preferences. I'm on a Mac so it's in the Musescore menu, but I think on a PC it's under Edit > Preferences. Click on the Canvas tab and then under Notesheet, choose Colour. Select the colour (I just use good old white!), click Apply and then OK.
