I've been sharing Whirli for a year now. This video shows, not only the highlights of my time with her, but also many of my highlights since I've been riding.
I came to Wigs after a tough time, my old share pony, Cloud, had been taken away and I'd been put onto another horse, Asti, that reminded me too much of Dodi, the horse I shared before Cloud as I had ridden Asti whenever I missed my Dodi sessions. I enjoyed riding Asti but I found myself longing for Dodi; I just couldn't appreciate Asti for the wonderful horse he is.
I then found myself missing Asti sessions and being unable to rearrange on him. So I rode Whirli. I had 4 sessions with her in reasonably quick succession and enjoyed it so much. She was different enough for me to make a fresh start and enjoy the time I had without wishing for another horse. She truly is amazing and we have achieved so much in this year; we've played at liberty, jumped my highest, ridden bareback and bridleless and been galloping on the beach. Even though I've fallen off her more than any other horse I still feel completely safe on her. She has my full trust and confidence.
I love this horse so much and can't imagine what this year would have been like without her.
