My Morgan hunter gelding Let's Get Byzy (Stonecroft Byzantine x RBC Leah, by Issues N Answers) being his bomb self; April 2008.

He is 5 years old in this video but had only been in training since September of 07.

Last year, he was Reserve Grand National Champion Hunter Pleasure Geldings, and was tied with Gradell Ring My Bell for 3rd in the World Championship Hunter Pleasure.

In 2009, he has only added to his list of accomplishments, and was crowned Hunter Pleasure Amateur Grand Champion at Morgan Masterpiece, along with winning 1st place in the Hunter Pleasure Amateur Stallions & Geldings qualifier.

"Chad" has since been sold and is now enjoying the jumper life with a fantastic new owner.

  • Is he a foundation Morgan?

  • @saddleclubgrrl Not at all. He's what you'd call "new type", haha.

  • gorgeous horse but the video would have been better if you were wearing a helmet

  • @sarahbelle96x I doubt the riding would have been better if a helmet had been involved...

  • @hrhirene yes but its really dangerous to ride without one. one of my friends got a concussion from not wearing a helmet. it wasn’t even a hard fall. she jest landed on her back. just saying it could save your life

  • @merJewel I know :) This is actually my then-trainer riding, so really, the lecture should probably be directed at her. I personally ride with a helmet and I would be dead at least once if I hadn't been wearing one. But a helmet is a choice, and you can't force someone to wear it if they don't want to. It's up to the individual... particularly when they own the barn!

  • @hrhirene im not trying to tell you what to do. i just think its safer generally to wear a helmet, its your choice but its a good one to make, and it really can save your life :)

  • What a great horse! I love his movement but honestly I would never be able to sit balanced on his trot lol BTW I think you are a good rider (:

  • @silverrealm I noticed that too.

  • @hrhirene Nice! Thanks for the info :-D Hes cute!
