Where the discs sanded before being places? Or where they placed, filled it withe the brown epoxy then sanded?

@ggaego the discs were coated in epoxy and set in polyurethane adhesive then the dark epoxy was poured in between the discs and then we sanded the whole thing and coated it with clear epoxy and then 3 coats of polyurethane

How thick are the disks and what is the black stuff between them?

@sellerslockandkey the discs are 5/8 of an inch thick and the epoxy is ethyl lactate and a roasted cashew shell hardener

we did try a syringe and it was too slow so we settled on using the cup instead this floor was 70 square feet and it took 1 and a half days for 2 people to pour since we also had to mix up small batches one at a time since the working time was less than 15 minutes
