  • The chord progression in the chorus is the only similar thing between both songs. Hold It Against Me is a great song, bar the shitty lyrics.

  • Sooooo? Who cares... More power to her.

  • Dude, you are way too cute.

  • i like HIAM better than SG....

  • This is what most modern music is becoming. Contantly, uncreative shit! I swear if I hear another remake of something from a nursery rhyme or a rap on a good classic 80s hit I might gouge my ear with a spork!

I have nothing against genres of music or any musician/artist. I do have something against uncreative producers who know what they are doing to make an extra buck.

  • that's just what i thought when i first heard HIAM. especially the hook!

  • Fairly similar, I haven't heard the songs individually. Could it be that many songs will mash up in such a way?

  • Could you ask Chris to finish/make a proper mash-up of the two? Cause what we've heard sounds really good!

  • hahaha!

wow, when i first heard HIAM it totally reminded me of shattered glass.... very similar, nice to know im not the only one

  • This was only to be expected with a track penned by Mr. Max Martin. He's done this his entire career. He finds one song that's a hit, then he remakes it until it tires out: Listen to Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" then hit up Backstreet Boys "I Just Want You To Know" .

But there's also similarities to Brit's "Circus". The first time I heard HIAM, when the chorus came up, I swear I was singing "I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins, spotlight on me..." Listen, you'll hear it.
