@hockeystruth well dude, Howatt was in control 4/4 of the bout.
-
@MrJuha82 ...none of Howatt's alleged uppercuts even connected with Schultz I would say this one is a draw at best.
-
Howatt with CLEAR WIN, worked with his several sharp uppercuts.

Garry Howatt was a real maniac, especially when he first came up with the Islanders. His first year he won almost all his fights, and he usually grabbed on to the other player's hair. That was when they passed the rule that you got thrown out of the game if you grabbed the other player's hair. After that, Howatt didn't win as many fights, but he was always willing.

@buddmann Like they did when Larry Robinson beat him up.
-
If you will notice, Howatt was pulling Schultz's hair with his left hand the whole fight.
-
Even the Philly fans look stunned.
-
I'm not sure of the year but Pierre Bouchard Beat Schultz, in the end they both butted heads like rams.
-
In his autobiography, Dave Schultz said that Howatt, despite his size, was one of the toughest opponents he ever fought.
Damn I think Howatt beat Schultz
