The Last of the Armenians head out of there small town Hatra that was formerly a Seleucid City years ago. But the Seleucid forces went north and around Hatra to take over the least defended but most important cities of Armenia. After defeating Kingdom of Pontus and Parthian Empire in the immediate area, the Seleucids turned on Hatra seeking to reclaim its lost city back from the wretched Armenian General Arame. Philipos was dispatched with four units of phalanx pikemen, one unit of cataphracts, a unit of elephants, and light calvary to run down any fleeing horse archers. The Armenian Forces were less than impressive. This was the last field battle of Armenia in this campaign. I thought it would be fun to post one of my battles up here :) Enjoy

  • wow nearly 2000 views lol

  • Mwoh, I've conquert the whole map, except from britain... But it's like impossible to permorn a smooth naval operation there, because of the like 18 full navies guarding the coast and 15 armies guarding the coast...

  • @chao4356 that's why you need a strong navy and control the waters early because if you don't makes the seleucid campaign longer... lol I went north into Samatian lands then went into Germania then came down into roman lands... you know how long that took? lol

  • I'm busy now with the Seleucid campain, but the romans push me back at greece, which units are effective against roman leigionaries?

  • I use the phalanx pikemen with silver shield pikes (I like having a more balanced army, having an army of all of the most powerful units a faction has seems a tad bit boring lol) the pikes hold them in place long enough for ur calvary to destroy theirs and destroy their legionaires. Of course, you'll need upgrades on ur units.

  • Good battle but maybe you could have gotten your phalanx pikemen more involved in to the battle but that your choice. I loved the performance the cataphracts displayed in this battle and also the elephants.

  • I am going to make video on my new seleucid campaign to show people how I got to that point and stuff :)

  • @chao4356 Sythced Chariots and elephants cause fear attack flank with cataphracts and use selucid legianares and phalanx pikes to march in and wisk them away easily despite alll of haters GEnerals death realy do make a differance

  • @1989dman

It took me like 1 year to reach britain.

  • @chao4356 use cataphracts and smash them.

  • @civ4cavs Selucia is a strange conutry to play as the campaign goes from ridiculously difficult to laughably easy. Once you take town Eygpt and subjugate Modern day turkey + Armenia and Parthia, This campaign is really easy. The Selucids have some of the best unit selection in the game and your starting region is very rich. When I won I had 500k Denalli.

  • @chao4356 Cataphracts and Companion Calvary DESTROY Legionaires. Three units of either can take down a 500 man legionaire based army.

  • In my opinion Seleucids and Numidia are the hardest campaigns to play, Numidia because its fairly weak anyways but Seleucids because EVERY one of their border countries attack and attack and ATTACK them, its pretty over whelming, ecspecially Armenia at Hatra. Ive fought that battle about 12 times now lol. Great vid :)
