This was a great game but very underrated. I think what happened was that this game came out around the time the snes came out and people didnt really get it cause they figured why get the older systems games. I could be wrong though.

i remember the last 2 bosses where a pain in the ass........and even today is still a pain...hard long to beat.....BUT i really like the idea they improve Krang and Super Shredder fighting skill.....oh and the first time i saw Shredder holding the mutagen i was so amaze......

This was the best of the NES Turtles games for sure! The first one was good, but really tough and no two player mode. The second one was a cool port of the arcade game, but I liked the arcade itself more, four player capability and such. Plus, the extra two levels just felt like delays instead of bonuses.
This one had a great blend of the serious and campy TMNT universes and had the arcadey action to back it up.
Oh and it's the first game where Shredder gets away like in the old show!

Well I can officially say that the innocent child in me has died and was replaced by a perv for at 6:00 in the image provided I see something kinda weird I mean the 4 turtles are all around April, Raph's having this face like he's getting a handjob and Don is winking at us like he knows he's gonna be next.

Pro gaming hardly said.It's just some lame tactic i have won this game when i was little but not with special spamming sure you loose a few lives but it's more fun that way while spamming the special move makes you nearly invunerable there no fun on that!!!

Jesus! I never played this game, but had the cool poster of it on my wall for a long time. Was this game really this easy to beat??
