  • people always fighting and arguing about war and wow, if you dont like war go play wow and if u dont like wow go play war.. no one fucking cares who stole whose idea srsly. grow up ppl

  • umm.... well as long as people get enllightened thats good ^^

  • Was just expanding on what you said before. Why? Because I was lazy and had nothing better to do then spout random common knowledge. :-P

  • umm.... where in my postdid i mention Fantasy? aka Warhammer. ?

i just..... cant understand why you brought it up when i was talking about blizzard ripping off 40K game concept while making Starcraft (wich is an awesome game btw)

  • Eliments of the turn based rules being played out in real time in games like WoW and WAR can be evident in verious game errors which pop up which don't make any sense to anyone who has never played turn based games. For example, in WoW if you try and capture a quest objective in use by another player it tells you it is "tapped" which was turned based lingo for "has been used or in use". Mostly used in card games like Magic.

  • It's difficult to pull the combat action bar out of an MMO, all MMO RPGs work around very restrictive game rules which are all based on an adaptation of the rule system which was developed from a variety of pen and paper RPG games but set to real time calculations. For example WAR was based on Mordheim (Or 1st Edition), as well as Mythic's previous games for it's rules. WoW was based on the D20 rules but heavy modified and uses two global systems based on a value of 100.00/character level.

  • Warhammer fantasy was the original name for Warhammer. Which was used for the game back in 1st and 2nd Edition of the game. The name was since dropped, the game name simply reduced to Warhammer. In most circles it's still called Warhammer Fantasy even though the name was dropped nearly 15 years ago.

  • I'm npt sure but dont you mean Warhammer fantasy?
