Reason to Give's "It Takes A Village" School Supply Drive A Sucess!

Thanks to Barista Coffee House, the G-Team, and all our generous donors for making the first annual It Takes a Village school supply drive a great success!

On August 28, Reason to Give families, past and present, came together to celebrate the start of the new school year. Each family contributed one of their favorite homemade dishes to the pot-luck and adults spent the day mingling with one another, while the children danced and made new friends.

With 58 children in attendance, we had a full house! Each student received a backpack full of all the supplies they need for the new school year. We raffled off donated prizes of SAT and ACT books, study guides, and even a scientific calculator.

The event was a great success, and we plan to do it again next year! Thanks to all who contributed!
