  • @arbitrationer Threatened indeed and it's no wonder why... If America has already forgotten about all the crimes and transgressions made by that administration, as this guy is saying they should, than the nation must be seriously brain damaged. That's a threatening assertion for anyone who wants to live in a better country.

  • History may not change facts but it uncovers new facts all the time. It also changes perceptions based on those facts. I understand Shapiro's thrust - the reality is that you cannot truly judge a president or any historical figure without the perspective of time.

Tho I have been antiwar through life I am not a pacifist. There are times and places you must fight for what is right. Maybe Iraq is one of those. Maybe protecting the rights of women & minorities around the world is another.

  • But history doesn't change the facts. The facts are, Bush, regardless of political affiliation, approved, supported, and strengthened the most over-reaching use of civilian surveillance in history, and used flawed intelligence to get America into a war that has proven to be about nothing that it was claimed about. And nevermind cronyism like pardoning Libby for committing a crime, or his ineptitude with Hurricane Katrina. etc. History changes some perceptions, but it doesn't change the facts.

  • Overall, this video raises some good points. At no point does Shaprio take an offensive stand, yet all of these commenters seem to be threatened by a defense of Bush.

Also, Rupert Murdock is a registered Democrat :)

  • Easy easy. This video raises some interesting points. In the future, people may look back on Bush as doing a good job. no one knows how anything he has done will end.

  • WSJ is a Rupert Murdock puppet. Bush is a murderer, a traitor , a moron , illiterate , uneducated and a torturer. BUSH WANTS SLAVERY ! He isn't fighting against slavery !

  • 30 seconds in and I already question Shapiro's mental capacity. 1 minute in and I question his sanity. 1:15 in and I want to slap him. 1:40 in and I think he's delusional.

"hard to judge a president by what he does while in office"? Are you smoking crack?

"respect" for someone who has no respect for the American people he screws over? No.

  • this guy has a hopelessly fucked up mind, god

  • This guy is Absolutely correct!

  • this guy scott needs some help.. somebody call 911
