  • I just pulled the vinyl top off of my 79 Coupe Deville, last night. I decided to begin learning to replace the vinyl while working on the metal underneath. After watching your video for about 2 min., I'd already decided to subscribe. I later heard you say to ask any ?s we may have & that was even better. But when I seen the Rossi bottle, I cracked up laughing :) And that sealed the deal brother :) I'm not a drinker, but I felt nothing but positive energy and that works 4 me.

  • would that glue work on bandana material cotton im thinkin of putting bandana on top of by car

  • Does the padding have to be glued with adhesive glue before installing the actual vinyl top?

  • top job mate

  • Did you really just call it a Bro-Ham??? I can't believe somebody calls it that and isn't joking...or black! It's pronounced "Brome!"

  • where do you buy the form at ? can you buy online?

  • How is it with moisture and rust under vinyl tops, and how do I avoid it? I'm thinking of adding a landau roof on a project car I'll work on, but appearently people have problems with corrosion? Can't see how rain would get in anywhere and cause problems, but obviously many cars suffer from rust under the top?

  • @boatops I'm working on the same problem.... definitely pick up a fisher body service manual for that model year. They go for about 50 bucks on ebay. I just picked up a service manual for the mechanical side of my 1968 sedan deville.

  • I have a Q: On my 81 caddy deville a tree limb knocked about a silver dollar size chunk out the side of my top. seem like it have that styrofoam under it. can this be repaired without replacing the entire top? if so do you knw what i would need?

  • will vinyl Faux Leather work for a top of a car
