LOL the Fuji powerplant is a fucking beast, it's just expensive to build. The only thing you can do to it to make it any better is increase the compression or bore/stroke it.
But in stock form, it's a bulletproof engine. I had my 07 for years and never had a single issue other than normal wear and tear.

They don't have 60HP factory...The SX's have 50HP stock, the 505 just produces more torque than it's 450 counterpart. The XCs have around 40-45HP. Ironically, the XC's have indentical HP to the Predator.
The difference is the Predator weighs 50lbs more. The KTM's are far better for acceleration, however on top end I'm afraid the Predator will walk both the SX and XC. There is no replacement for displacement on the top end, unless you own a 700 Raptor.

@residentevillord. Yeah just coz ktm make the Polaris motors doesn't matter , if u have a look at the ktm website u will see that it's only 477 cc producing more hp than ur 500cc. dunno but u work it out , seems like the ktm would leave u in 4th gear like ur mate on the banshee

@daWKin548 it might but you dont know my bike my buddy up the rode has a decked out shee and i stay with him till like 4th gear with is like 65 or around there...yeah ktm is race ready i know that but consider the face that polaris use ktm motors lol

@residentevillord you seriously have no concept of power if you think your pred can keep up with the ktm, the KTM can run stock against stage 3 duncan racing yamaha's because the quad is producing 60+ bhp. My best mates ltz-400 produces 32bhp. an ltr-450 is 42bhp stock. so ktm running 60+ bhp stock on a 477cc engine actually if you read the specs is impressive, so actually it has less cc's than you but it would leave you fucked up in a bush xD

@daWKin548 lol i dont realy know what the rpm i was taking a shot in the sky there but if they both were the same year maby not but...my 03 pred just got its motor rebuilt...and no its not bord so...but considering that the ktm has 5cc more than me i highly dought it would rape me maybe on track yes....but like i sayed year for year i dought it...because when i down right smoke YZ250f's and keep up with raptor 700 i think i can keep up with the 505
