Tornado generator

This is my tornado generator i made by modifying the designs on weather-photography.com, courtesy of Mr. Edens. It has a variable knob to adjust fan speed, and effectivly, tornado strength. Its pretty cool; my camera resolution isn't that good, so it may be hard to see.

Oh yea! trust me, you start thinking of all sorts of fun things to do, like putting a boat in the water. The video is also hard to appreciate. It's qite a bit more beautiful in real life.

Hi, is yours an open air machine? I can't see any plexi surrounding it, only the black pipes creating the airflow.

I'm trying to build one around 2.5 ft in height. Open air machine. I've got everything except not knowing what to use to create the airflow out of the pipes.

Got airpump but it's too noisy. I'm using a computer fan on top.
